The nation’s top 100 Grade Six students have been honoured. The 9th Annual CIBC FirstCaribbean Grade Six National Assessment Awards were held virtually on 8th December, 2021.
Due to the pandemic and the need for social distancing, the Ministry of Education’s Broadcast Unit, coordinated and produced the programme.
This year’s top student is Ms. Aliane E. Challenger of the Grace Christian Academy.
Speaking during the ceremony, Minister of Education, Sports and Creative Industries, Hon. Darryl Matthew, congratulated the students, their parents, schools, principals and teachers for their outstanding achievements.
He noted that if the country is to develop, move forward and achieve its full potential, it must be recognized that a collective effort is required.
